Excited to share that our AFHE prime contractor has recently awarded Nomescorps a significant infrastructure project at the Hakozaki fuel facility. Our Electrical and civil engineering teams are hard at work updating systems across multiple Tank tops. Despite the long days and weekends, our dedicated teams are focused on minimizing any impact on the systems. Exciting news! Nomescorp Misawa has secured a multimillion dollar project for repairs at Misawa air base.

Exciting news! Nomescorp Misawa has secured a multimillion dollar project for repairs at Misawa air base. Our team, in collaboration with our prime contractor, meticulously verified all items in the PWS during a comprehensive survey. We are gearing up to demolish a filter separator facility for the installation of new horizontal type separators, renovate the facility, and carry out a transformer replacement and other electrical upgrades at a TFS. With our expanding engineering and self-performance teams, we are equipped to handle projects across Mainland Japan, Okinawa, and Diego Garcia.

Environmental control system instalation

Looking to upgrade your building’s energy monitoring and control system? N.O.M.E.S has got you covered. Our IT depertment recently completed the installation of new devices in the EMCS panels of multiple towers, delivering top-notch quality and expertise in the process. Each Device was thoroughly quality checked by our QCM and then shipped to Yokohama for additional modification before installation has begun. During the installation, we follow strict safety procedures including turning off the circuit breaker and performing LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).

Kadena Air Base Bazley Tower Renovation

Installation Mini-Split and Water Heater Our first focus will be the installation of a new multi-split type air conditioning system, which will replace the existing units and provide improved cooling and energy efficiency. Additionally, we will be replacing the existing fire escape doors with new ones, as severe corrosion was discovered on the edges and framing of the old doors. To ensure the safety of all occupants, preparations are being made to begin abatement of any Asbestos containing material (ACM) and Lead base paint (LBP) that were detected on the doors’ hardware.

Nomescorp construction teams began the new year by starting the demolition phase On our 2nd tower of a multi-Tower Renovation project on Kadena airbase , we will be installing new hot water heaters and mini splits as well as flooring and painting of units, prior to break we completed the initial asbestos abatement work , allowing our demolition crews to proceed At the same time our civil side began excavating for new transformer installation.

Diversity is key

To achieving success, even with the changing face of contracting. Nomescorp has managed to not only survive but to grow and increase in capabilities to support our customers. Our Diego Garcia team returned safely to Okinawa after a 75 day evolution , the completed 2 essential pump installations, 4 tank water removal installations in what some call the most logistically challenged location known (there is no corner parts store). At the Same time our senior management and engineers traveled to Misawa Air base to begin the final preparations for out full tower and housing area renovations to begin later this year , meeting with local subs and making the essential friendships Japanese style.

Breaking Ground in Misawa

Nomescorp broke ground on HVAC and architectural upgrades at the Misawa pass.Section and security office at the main gate, Nomescorp CEO and Senior engineer mobilized from Nomescorp Main offices to oversee the start of the project. Subcontractor personnel currently working Electrical installations and EMCS prior to the initial onset of heavy winter weather. Misawa winters can prove to be a real challenge, with very heavy snow fall inculding whiteout occurring mutiples times per year.
